Margaret Leonard knows the value of teamwork.

As a professional Rugby player in years past, she joined the volunteer fire service looking to continue that bond. This time with a greater purpose serving with Lovettesville Volunteer Fire Rescue.

Currently in Firefighter 1 and 2 training, she recalls the first time she provided aide on a CPR call. ‘I was amazed at cadence of the medics, how in tune and professional they all were’.

Today, that’s the definition of team for her.
